DCH4 Trail 2086 – Island of Misfit Toys!!
Prelube starts at 3PM, Trail starts about 5PM.
Where: 5951 Franconia Road Alexandria, VA
Hares: Ghost of Christmas Past (PPV), Present(Tour) and Future (Straight in the Navy?)
Cost: $9 or $6 with a side dish
Directions:
Metro: Take the Blue Line to Van Dorn Street Station. Take Fairfax Connect Bus 109 or 322 to get you close by. Or walk the mile. Or arrange a ride.
Driving: I495 to Van Dorn Street Exit. Take a right off the exit ramp heading south on Van Dorn Street. Take a right on Franconia Road. Limited parking at the start – park on VIlla Street (a block from the start).
Other trail info: A to A, come dressed as your favorite misfit toy or in an ugly sweater! Hashmas Carols to be sung. We will burn shit! Trail is stroller and dog friendly, however no dogs allowed in the house.
Please RSVP and invite others so we know how many KEGS to get. And let us know if bringing a dish. We will provide chili and fixins.

From Metro: – One mile north of the Wiehle-Reston East Station (Silver). The station is the very last stop going west on the metro Silver line.

Cum join Blackout and Just Grady for the haring of their first DCH4 trail! The end is <0.5 miles from the start of trail via foot path. Please come join us a little further west and run with the soccer moms.

What: DCH4 Trail #2083 – Another Dam Trail

A to A’; Doggie friendly; determined, off-road strollers possible

When: Saturday, November 30, 2019; 3pm

Where: Start is at 10700 Columbia Pike (Rte 29; aka Colesville Road), at Burnt Mills West Special Park (north of Silver Spring, MD)

From DC Beltway – I-495, cumming from the West: Take exit 30A, to merge onto US-29N/Colesville Road north toward Columbia.  Go north for 1.5 miles to bottom of hill, and immediately after crossing the bridge for the Northwest Branch, with a dam to your left, turn left into the parking lot near the dam. Park and Hash. (parking is also available across the street at 10701 Columbia Pike, at Burnt Mills East Special Park) If you see the Trader Joe’s on your right, you have gone 80 yards too far.  **FYI: When you cross the bridge, Colesville Rd becomes Columbia Pike—they are both Rte. 29.

From DC Beltway – I-495, cumming from the East: Take exit 29 for MD-193W (north)/University Blvd to Wheaton. After 0.5 miles, right at the third light on Colesville Road/Rte. 29, go 0.9 miles to bottom of hill, and immediately after crossing the bridge for the Northwest Branch, with a dam to your left, turn left into the parking lot near the dam. From the north, proceed south on Rte. 29 (you can take Rte. 200/Inter-county Connector to Rte 29). From the intersection with Rte. 200 (ICC), go south on Rte. 29/Columbia Pike for 4 miles. After you see the Trader Joe’s on your left, make a right into the parking lot just before the bridge. Park and hash. (parking is also available across the street at 10701 Columbia Pike, at Burnt Mills East Special Park)

Riding Metro:  Take the Red Line to the Wheaton Metro Station and go to Veteran’s Park .  Let’s hope the hares aren’t too drunk that they forget to put marks for you to follow to start.

The 2080 Rate trail – Hashing full time!

Date/Time: Saturday 11/9/2019 at 3pm

Cost: $9

Start: Parking lot behind Paradiso Italian Restaurant
6124 Franconia Rd, Alexandria, VA 22310
Trail: The 2080 Rate trail – Hashing full time

Directions:
Metro: Blue Line to Van Dorn Street or Franconia/Springfield Station. Catch a bus (310, 232?) or Uber.

Prelube: Paradiso!

Driving:
From I 95 to Springfield interchange. Head towards Franconia/Alexandria Paradiso is about 2 miles on left

From I495: Take Van Dorn Street Exit. South on Van Dorn Street (right at exit). Right on Franconia Road. Paradiso is about 1/2 mile on right after turning on Franconia Road.

Trail Deets: A to B. Light shiggy. Walker and Runner trails. Stroller and dog friendly but dogs must be on leash at all times. Bag vehicle provided. Bring layers and chair. we have a keg to kick so plan on hanging out a while. Food will be provided for meat and non-meat eaters.

On On On: 5951 Franconia Road

On On On into the night: Back at Paradiso – they typically have live music and/or karaoke.

Dia de los Muertos Zombie Hash and Pub Crawl.
Start: Garage next to Teeters, 323 Copley Pl, Gaithersburg, MD 20878. #54 bus from Rockville to Washingtonian Ctr stop will get you close.
Pre-lube: Downtown Crown Beer and Wine- 20 taps!
Cost: $1 for the zombie chase
Hares: No Child Left Behind and Bah-ROOOOOOOO!
Trail: Zombies vs. the living. Wear your finest coffin clothes. We’re going to divide into living and undead using the same trail. Bring $1 with your name on it. Living walkers and any imposter zombies get a head start. Running zombies must catch the living and get their $1. Game ends at the beverage check. Winners will be walkers who have their dollar and the runner with the most. Everyone’s $ will be pooled and put towards sh*tty beer for the winners at the end. Hiding is fair. Pay as you go pub crawl at the end of trail so bring money and ID on trail. Trail is dog friendly, but they may have to skip the pubs. Two have dog friendly patios but it will be chilly.

…and while you “shiver in antici-PA-tion”…get out those fish-net stockings and all the rest to celebrate 44 yrs of this camp-cult event by dressing as your favorite character (and your silly dog too). You all have plenty of time to attend pre World Series start.
Any RHPS virgins out there ?  If so, then ” I would like, if I may, to take you on a strange journey.” Join us
Start: Use Spitz address for start: 7233 Parsons Court, Alexandria 22306. But PLEASE park on BEDROCK (at intersection with Westfield Court) — you will see the BASKET BALL/TENNIS COURT on left side of street — if raining — there will also be a canopy and some prelube to warm your inners.
 
Hares: Spitz.cum (aka Magenta), NoChildLeftBehind (aka Just Janet) plus Mystery Hare (aka Dr Frank-N-Furter the “Surgeon”)
Trail: A to A Prime (Start and Park at LOCATION link above). Trail is dog and stroller friendly (as is On-After) with a Penguin (a walk around the park) and EAGLE/Turkey split (offering work arounds for wetness and some shiggy).There will be public crossings to show off our costumes too ! DRESS YOUR BEST !
End is Spitz’s Frankenstein Castle and where the ON AFTER takes place: 7233 Parsons Court, Alexandria, VA  22306. Movie option and bon fire will be stoked.
“Master, dinner is prepared” and served in Rocky Horror style including Frank-N-Furters (with mustard), Toast, Meatloaf, and of course vegetarian platters; plus assorted red drinks and birthday hats of course!
Bring: $10 for trail, food, beer, and other libations. Camp chair might be handy and maybe RAIN GEAR (ugh!) Movie option / available.

Where: Fairland Recreational Park 3928 Greencastle Rd, Burtonsville, MD 20866.  Park by the tennis courts, maps will direct you to the football/soccer field parking.

Cost: $6

Hares: Unleash the Furrry, Heaven’s Gape, Just Alan (Hare cell 540-691-6854)

Trail: A to A. Runner and Walker trails. Runners need a dry bag for wet feet. Walker trail is stroller friendly with work arounds available. Trails are dog friendly, but doggo needs to be on a leash.
