Friendlies: Runners, walkers, dogs that can be lifted over a short fence. Neither trail is stroller friendly, but could make a work around if there is interest (day of is fine).

This week DCH4 will be participating in the DC Full Moon hosted by Smutty Crab H3. Same Hash time, same hash date.
When: Saturday, February 8th @ 3 pm

Details: You might get your toesies wet, so bring a dry bag.

Dogs: sure, as long as you bring a leash.

Kids: sure, as long as you keep em leashed. But not stroller friendly (shiggy!).

Metro: get yourself to Suiteland Metro Station and then Uber/Lyft (15 min) or have a hasher pick you up along the way.

Hares: Heaven’s Gape & Just Kirsten
Cost: $6
Trail details: A-A’, expect light hills, runners 4-ish miles, limited shiggy, walkers 2+ miles. Bring a cranium star if you know what’s good for you. Dog and stroller friendly.

Start: Late Nite’s and Spelunker’s house (8010 Piney Branch Rd. Silver Spring, MD)
Time: 3pm
Hares: Late Nite Drive Thru & Ass Spelunker
Cost: $6
Trail details: A-A, expect hills, runners 4-ish miles, limited shiggy, walkers 2+ miles. Bring a camp chair to enjoy the fire pit in the back yard.
Metro: Closest is Takoma about one mile from the start.
On-after: Hare party with pizza & snacks. If you sign up for any trails in 2020 you will receive a raffle entry for alcohol and other prizes.

Where: Twinbrook Metro Parking Garage, upper level

Theme: Lizz in Your Pants 2: Watch out for the Goo. It’s been eight years since the first installment due some problems in post-production (you know how it is) but at least two Lizzes are back for more, so show up in your biggest pants.
Notes: A-A’, metro will be single tracking between Grosvenor and Twinbrook. Dog and stroller friendly, bring a headlamp just in case! Weather forecast calls for rain so a dry bag would also be smart.

of 14th St North & N Uhle St) (About a block from Courthouse Metro)
Hares: Outgoing Mismanagement (Late Nite and Ass Spelunker)
Time: 12:30 sign in, pack away promptly at 1:00
Cost: $6 if you bring a dish, $10 if you don’t
On After: John Lyon VFW post 3150 (2116 19th St N, Arlington, VA 22201)
Trail Details: Reminder, trail will start at 1:00. There will be no hash standard time on this. We need to be at the VFW by 1:30. Trail will be A-B ending at on after. Parking is limited at the VFW. I would leave your car parked at the start. End is only a 1/2 from start. We have the post from 1:30-5:30, so trail will be short. There will be a bag vehicle.
AGM Details: Reminder, this is a pot luck, so bring a dish to share. there will be a kitchen to use if you need something heated up. However, only mismanagement is allowed in the kitchen. We also purchased two kegs
One is an IPA, the other Miller Lite. If you want something else, you’re on your own.
AGM will start at 3:00. We need people to volunteer for next years mismanagement. the positions we’re looking for are:

Bring a gift to exchange (usually under $20). Everybody gets a number. When it’s your turn to pick, you have the option to steel a gift, or pick one out from under the tree. Gifts can only be stollen two times. (This is because we have to end the party sometime).

Start: Takoma Park Middle School (7611 Piney Branch Rd. Silver Spring, MD)
Hares: Late Nite Drive Thru and Ass Spelunker
Time: 2pm
Cost: $20
What you get: One beer check, eleven shot check, one keg of Goose Island IPA, one keg of Kona Big Wave, and a boat load of food.
Details: 
Trail will include one Beer check and eleven Shot checks on a 1.5 – 2 mile stroll singing Christmas carols. (We encourage you to bring some hashy holiday songs to share)
Please bring shot cups for trail.
Metro: Closest is Takoma (about 3/4 mile from the start, and about one mile from on after)
On After: Late Nite’s and Spelunker’s (8010 Piney Branch Rd. Silver Spring, MD)
Parking: PLEASE DO NOT PARK IN OUR DRIVEWAY!! We need access to our car. Parking is available across the street and in the surrounding neighborhoods.

DCH4 Trail 2086 – Island of Misfit Toys!!
Prelube starts at 3PM, Trail starts about 5PM.
Where: 5951 Franconia Road Alexandria, VA
Hares: Ghost of Christmas Past (PPV), Present(Tour) and Future (Straight in the Navy?)
Cost: $9 or $6 with a side dish
Directions:
Metro: Take the Blue Line to Van Dorn Street Station. Take Fairfax Connect Bus 109 or 322 to get you close by. Or walk the mile. Or arrange a ride.
Driving: I495 to Van Dorn Street Exit. Take a right off the exit ramp heading south on Van Dorn Street. Take a right on Franconia Road. Limited parking at the start – park on VIlla Street (a block from the start).
Other trail info: A to A, come dressed as your favorite misfit toy or in an ugly sweater! Hashmas Carols to be sung. We will burn shit! Trail is stroller and dog friendly, however no dogs allowed in the house.
