Start location: There are 4 parking lots in the park. We will meet in the central parking lot, which is located by making a right past the soccer field and will be the first parking lot on the left.

Turkey/Eagle Trail Description: A-A’ or A-A, 3+ miles for Turkey vs 3.5 for Eagles, Turkey trail is tough dog friendly, expect swamp muck, ankle-deep water crossings, and lots of PI and mosquitos

Location: Fort Totten Metro Station, 38.953484, -77.004431 (or just get off the damn train and look for marks!)

Details: A-A, Trail is strictly BYOV as there will be no single use cups, straws or Harrietts provided on trail. Bring ID and extra $ because it is going to be long and hard. Dry bag with clean clothes and deo are requested.
It is going to be hot, hot, hot so dogs are OK but have mercy on the poor buggers and leave them home in the A/C. Strollers & walkers OK on walker’s trail.
Donkey cart available for bags, dog and pony show for everyone else.

Details: Some urban shiggy, reasonable distance (~7km). Walkers and Runners split. One Beer Check, possible shot check. Mostly stroller and dog friendly, with some pavement work-arounds. Walkers trail is stroller friendly.

What: DCH4 Trail #2052; a Joint Collaboration Trail with DCH4 and S2H3 (Strolling Stoners H3); A to A’, Runners and Walkers trails, stroller and doggie friendly; no major water crossings, but it will rain a lot Friday and Friday night, so there will be some mud–so you might want to bring a change of shoes….

The memorial is just west of 20th St, NE, between Hamlin and Franklin Streets, and a couple blocks south of Rhode Island Ave.
It is 1.1 miles from both the Rhode Island Ave and Brookland-CU Metro stations.
